Wunderlich Securities has raised the price target of Northern Oil & Gas, Inc. (NYSE: NOG) to $5 from $4, saying that "good liquidity and solid hedges keep the financials ready for better days."

Analyst Jason Wangler noted that the company navigated the downturn by cutting costs, more efficient well participation and trimming debt with cash flow — thereby strengthening its balance sheet and liquidity. These steps also allowed the firm to keep production at levels that generate ample revenue and cash flow.

Hot High Tech Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Raytheon Company(RTN)

Advisors’ Opinion:

As I wrote yesterday, Lockheed’ s older F-16 jet is considered a front runner in the Indian Air Force’s potential $15 billion order for 110 fighter aircraft. Lockheed also produces the more modern (and stealth capable) F-22, and F-35 fighters. Both of these fighters are professionally thought to be effective against Russia’s S-400 long range air defense missile system. That system is currently deployed in western Syria. Last week, Lockheed also won a $247 million contract from NASA to design and build an experimental aircraft that could operate without creating a traditional sonic boom. My price target: $375.

    Raytheon (RTN)

First off, should the president decide to strike Syria without the use of American pilots, guess who produces the Tomahawk missile? That’s right. These guys. On top of that, you might have noticed that two weeks ago, Poland agreed to spend $4.75 billion on RTN’s Patriot missile defense system. By the way, this is the largest weapons deal in the history of Poland. Russia’s annexation of the Crimean peninsula has not been lost on this former Warsaw Pact nation.

Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has been one of the pot-election winners that benefitted from the so-called “trump Bump” due to higher military spending ambitions. It turns out that the hype behind higher defense spending is giving this military equipment giant confidence to boost its dividend handily.

Hot High Tech Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Snap Interactive, Inc. (STVI)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Vikram Nagarkar]

According to recent reports, Snap Inc will now look to go public at a valuation of $19 billion to $22 billion, as it goes public under the ticker symbol SNAP on the New York Stock Exchange. Snap Inc’s move to slash its previous seemingly overambitious target of $25 billion comes across as a very good move. Well, there’s no denying the fact that the upcoming Snapchat IPO has generated a lot of investor interest – to the extent that some “overeager” investors even went ahead and bought shares of a similar sounding company,Snap Interactive (OTC:STVI), sending its shares 140% higher. And Snap Interactive’s relatively paltry $50 million market cap may have something to do with it. Be that as it may, Snapchat’s reported initial valuation target of $25 billion was way too ambitious, and there’s no lack of consensus on that front. However, even the scaled down $19 billion target may not be attractive enough.
