Zensar Technologies share price jumped 7.4 percent intraday Wednesday on bagging a four year, multi-million dollar contract from the City of SanDiego for network services.
The company said this contract has the option of extension of two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed contract value being approximately USD 79 million.
“We are pleased the City of San Diego selected Zensar as its provider to manage its network services. Zensar is committed to provide the City with exceptional customer service and delivery of the most up-to-date technology solutions,” Zensar CEO and MD Sandeep Kishore said.
Zensar will deliver the services out of San Diego and its nearshore NOC based in Dallas, which will create additional jobs within North America, the company said.
“The Zensar team working on this project will be dedicated to the City of San Diego, with the key employees located within blocks of the downtown City campus at WeWork and the rest of the team at Zensar’s network operating centre (NOC) in Dallas, Texas, where the city’s current data centre is also located,” the statement said.
At 15:05 hours IST, the stock price was quoting at Rs 946.85, up Rs 45.40, or 5.04 percent on the BSE.
