Cooperman is most bullish on energy stocks, and believes that oil can reach close to $60 this year.

With the economy near full employment, rising wages could lead to higher inflation

Cooperman, who is a member of the 2017 Forbes World Billionaires List, does not see a bubble in equities, but does see one in fixed income. He believes that the economy is growing and that central banks remain open to raising rates and tightening monetary policy.
