Enbridge Inc (NYSE:ENB) is the owner and operator of six major crude pipelines that run from Alberta, originating in the Edmonton/Hardisty area, down to Superior, Wisconsin. This is know as the Mainline System and enables the flow of up to 2.85 million barrels of crude from Canada to America. One of those pipelines, the 1,097-mile long Line 3, has been operating for 50 years and needs to be replaced. Let’s take a look at Enbridge Inc’s largest project currently under construction, the L3RP or Line 3 Replacement Project.

Liquids pipelines generated $6.4 billion in EBITDA for Enbridge Inc in 2017, up from $3 billion in 2015. The cash flow from these assets is used to support and grow its 6.6% yield, making any expansion noteworthy especially one as big as the L3RP. The Line 3 Replacement Project is Enbridge Inc’s largest project ever.

Line 3

Back in 2008, Enbridge voluntarily curtailed the volumes along the Line 3 system by 370,000 bpd, bringing its utilization rate down to just 390,000 bpd. This was an implicit acceptance that the system was getting old, and by 2014, the Line 3 Replacement Project was sanctioned. The goal is to get crude moving along the system by late 2019, or maybe early 2020.

Top Heal Care Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK-B)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

Savvy investors look forward to the last month of winter every year, because it’s when Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK-A) (NYSE:BRK-B) CEO Warren Buffett issues his annual letter to Berkshire’s shareholders. The missive comes alongside the insurance giant’s full-year financial results, and investors inevitably look at how Berkshire has done as a gauge for the health of the overall market.

  • [By Motley Fool Staff]

Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) is one of Berkshire Hathaway’s (NYSE:BRK-A) (NYSE:BRK-B) largest stock investments, and according to Warren Buffett’s comments at Berkshire’s recent annual meeting, there’s no reason to believe that will change soon.

  • [By Daniel Sparks]

Since famed investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK-B) (NYSE:BRK-A) began buying Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock in early 2016, the conglomerate has continued to load up on shares. Berkshire has purchased so many Apple shares that the tech giant became Berkshire’s largest equity holding last year.

  • [By Matthew Frankel]

Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK-A) (NYSE:BRK-B) has had a cash problem for some time now. Simply put, its businesses have been generating cash quicker than Warren Buffett and the rest of Berkshire’s team can figure out ways to put it to work. While the first quarter saw the cash stockpile decrease for the first time in a while, there’s still almost $109 billion in cash on Berkshire’s balance sheet.

Top 10 Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett said Thursday there’s no question a basket of U.S. stocks will do better over time than bonds.

Stocks are “considerably more attractive,” Buffett said in an interview with CNBC’s Becky Quick on “Squawk Alley.” “Over time, a bunch of businesses that are earning higher returns on capital are going to beat a bond that’s fixed at roughly 3 percent.”

When he asked whether he’s buying stocks, Buffett said, “We’re buying stock this morning.”

Buffett, also known as “The Oracle of Omaha,” said he’s bought stocks under every U.S. president. He added the reason stocks are worth “a whole lot more” than decades ago is because American corporations have “plowed back part of the earnings.”

Buffett continued, “You can [also] buy a duplex next door and rent it out to people and do fine over time or you can buy a small piece of farm land or something or you can put it into something fixed income — bonds, bank deposits.”

Ongoing concerns about other factors — including the move in the 10-year Treasury yield above the 3% mark and the outcome of a possible summit between U.S. and North Korean leaders — helped keep the gains somewhat in check. But some companies had good news that sent their shares sharply higher. Under Armour (NYSE:UA) (NYSE:UAA), Boot Barn Holdings (NYSE:BOOT), and Abaxis (NASDAQ:ABAX) were among the best performers on the day. Here’s why they did so well.

Earnings season will continue Friday. But the big buzz is coming from Kraft Heinz Co. (NYSE: KHC), which reported after the bell yesterday. Shares plunged more than 24% after a dismal earnings report, weak forward guidance, and news that the firm was slashing its once reliable dividend. The firm wrote down the value of its Kraft and Oscar Meyer brands by $15 billion, slashed its dividend by 36%, and reported a whopping $12.6 billion loss. Wall Street also did not like the news that the SEC issued a subpoena in October 2018 to investigate the company’s accounting practices.

Hot Oil Stocks To Buy For 2019

In this segment from MarketFoolery, host Chris Hill and Motley Fool Pro’s Jeff Fischer weigh in on the perhaps long-overdue news that General Electric (NYSE:GE) is about to undergo a major split, and additional serious asset divestitures are on the horizon.

The spinoff of the healthcare unit is the biggest headline-grabber, and its plans to move further away from the oil and gas sector by selling its stake in Baker Hughes, a GE Company (NYSE:BHGE) are significant as well. But what should be even more interesting to investors is the internal changes CEO John Flannery plans for the leaner company he’s creating.

A full transcript follows the video.

This video was recorded on June 26, 2018.

Chris Hill: Let’s move on to General Electric. Some good news for General Electric and its shareholders. GE’s stock having its best day in three years. Up on, actually, a lot of news, but I guess first and foremost, General Electric is spinning off its Healthcare unit. The company also said it plans to, eventually, over the next couple of years, divest its stake in Baker Hughes, which is the oil services company. What did you think of this move, when you saw it this morning?

Hot Oil Stocks To Buy For 2019: ENI S.p.A.(E)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Shane Hupp]

Enterprise Group Inc (TSE:E) shares hit a new 52-week low during trading on Friday . The stock traded as low as C$0.37 and last traded at C$0.37, with a volume of 24200 shares traded. The stock had previously closed at C$0.40.

  • [By Shane Hupp]

ENI (NYSE:E) was downgraded by analysts at Zacks Investment Research from a hold rating to a sell rating. According to Zacks, “With recovering oil prices, Eni’s operating profits from its Refining & Marketing business has gone down in the first half of 2018 against the comparable period of 2017. Also, operating profit from its Chemical business fell 79% during this period due to rising costs of oil-based feedstock. Moreover, Eni has sold 50% of its stake in the Zohr field, a high yielding project, which can impact its revenues. Fall in demand for products like gasoil and gasoline, in Italy, is also a concern for the company. If this consumption trend persists, the company’s profit levels will get affected. Given these headwinds, Eni seems like a risky bet that ordinary investors should exit.”

Following the reform, Mexico drew multi-billion dollars' investment. It could lead up to an output of 3 MMBbl/d by the end of the planned period, as predicted by the supporters of the reform. The reform could also bring down electricity rates in the country. So far, Mexico has awarded around 90 contracts, both onshore and offshore. The country raised about $100 billion from the auctions by the end of January. With nine oil and gas blocks, Shell has emerged as the leading player in the auctions held so far. Other winners in the bidding processes include Eni S.p.A. (NYSE: E)of Italy, Inpex of Japan, France's TOTAL S.A. (NYSE: TOT), Chevron and more.

Dick’s Sporting Goods (NYSE:DKS) and Under Armour (NYSE:UA) (NYSE:UAA) shares both fall, and there’s no shortage of bad blood between the companies. Is Dick’s fair for blaming its underperformance on Under Armour’s supply choices?

  • [By Chris Lange]

Under Armour Inc. (NYSE: UAA) shares made a solid gain on Thursday after the company announced a restructuring plan and a new full-year outlook. As part of this restructuring, the firm is cutting about 400 jobs as well, or 3% of its total workforce.

  • [By Brian Withers]

In September 2015, Under Armour (NYSE:UA) (NYSE:UAA) could do no wrong. The apparel and footwear manufacturer had just finished its 21st consecutive quarter of 20%-plus revenue growth and released an aggressive strategic plan that promised to more than double the revenue of the company to $7.5 billion by 2018. Investors were impressed and the company’s stock hit an all-time high. But since then, things have not gone according to plan and the stock has fallen over 50% from its high. Growth has slowed in many of its key businesses and management’s current expectations for 2018 will significantly miss the strategic plan forecasts.

Under Armour Inc. (NYSE: UAA) reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2018 results before markets opened Tuesday. In the same period a year ago, the company reported a net loss per share of $0.12 on revenues of $1.37 billion. Canaccord Genuity’s Richard Close and Brian Hoffman contend Cerner may be “rediscovered its mojo.” They explain:

We reiterate our BUY rating and raise our PT to $66 (was $59) as the company finally
appears to have provided quarterly and annual targets that it can meet. Possibly more important, analyst expectations sit near the mid-point of guidance, portending upside potential. The outlook appears solid as the company (1) rebuilds a track record of delivering on expectations, (2) reaffirmed confidence in 2017 bookings growth, and (3) has a strengthened pipeline for ITWorks and revenue cycle. CERN may have rediscovered its mojo.

UPS (UPS) Chief Financial Officer told us the shipping giant will unveil a transformation plan in coming months. Dunkin’ Donuts (DNKN) CEO shot back at noted short-seller Jim Chanos, who disclosed a year-long short position in the restaurant chain on Thursday. Chanos’ response to me via email: “Wow, a promotional CEO and his execs don’t agree with a short-seller….? Imagine that.” Yep. Hopped on the phone with Hasbro’s (HAS) CEO for a piece to hit over the weekend. Came away thinking retailers are preparing for a rather upbeat holiday season. The impact of Toys ‘R’ Us’ liquidation will likely weigh on Hasbro in the second quarter, then taper off in the back half of the year.

Saudi Aramco’s valuation, however, isn’t the only one that would benefit from a pop in the price of crude. Many oil producers in the U.S. restructured their operations to run on $50 oil, so if the Saudi strategy is successful, these oil companies would produce a gusher of cash flow, which could fuel high-octane gains for investors. While that rise would likely lift the entire sector, Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) and Marathon Oil (NYSE:MRO)could outperform in that scenario.

That lost output would further tighten an oil market that suddenly has little margin for error thanks to red-hot demand and tame supply growth. Top Heal Care Stocks For 2018: Alaska Air Group, Inc.(ALK)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Paul Ausick]

The best airline, overall, was Alaska Air Group Inc. (NYSE: ALK). Other category winners were Spirit Airlines Co. (NASDAQ: SAVE), which was ranked cheapest; Alaska rated most reliable; JetBlue Airways Inc. (NASDAQ: JBLU) was most comfortable; best for pets was Alaska; and the airline receiving the fewest complaints was Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV).

  • [By Adam Levine-Weinberg]

Last year, a potential solution appeared when Alaska Air (NYSE:ALK) acquired Virgin America, which is the only other commercial airline at Love Field, whereas Alaska Airlines flies to nearby Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). It seemed plausible that Alaska would consolidate its Dallas-area operations at DFW, the region’s main airport.

  • [By Adam Levine-Weinberg]

While Southwest Airlines achieved the best score overall, Alaska Air (NYSE:ALK) received top marks among traditional carriers. This was its 10th consecutive victory in the traditional carrier segment.

While the airline stocks have pulled back recently, coming off a choppy 1Q17, we have In-Line ratings on the Big 3 (American Airlines [AAL], Delta Air Lines [DAL] and United Continental [UAL]), as well as on Alaska Air Group (ALK)…

Top Heal Care Stocks For 2018: Just Hold Your Nose and Dive Into Under Armour Inc (UAA)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Ben Levisohn]

Yesterday, shares of Under Armour (UAA) surged 9.9% as investors cheered its better-than-expected earnings. Baird’s Jonathan Komp and Benjamin Bray, however, note that the Bull-Bear debate around Under Armour is far from over. And remember, this is coming from a pair of bulls.

So why do Komp and Bray warn investors not to make too much of yesterday’s big gain? I’ll let them explain:

We are encouraged that UA delivered on Q1 targets (profit upside timing-driven), but view todays ~9% gain as a sign sentiment had moved too negative, and not that current bear arguments are resolved. We think the lowered Q2 bar probably de-risks the near-term outlook, setting up the planned 2H acceleration as a key proof point on whether UA can successfully shift its product/positioning. We are staying the course, and will seek opportunities (hopefully during 2H) to raise our conviction level.

That aligns nicely with the view of Cowen’s John Kernan, who argued that short-covering was responsible for a big chunk of yesterday’s move.

Shares of Under Armour have declined 0.3% to $21.61 at 1:57 p.m. today.

If Under Armour (UAA) , (UA) shareholders didn’t have bad luck, they wouldn’t have any luck at all. UAA shares are down around 30% year to date and more than 50% in the last 12 months. I thought these guys were supposed to be the next Nike (NKE) .

Top Heal Care Stocks For 2018: Cummins Inc.(CMI)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Reuben Gregg Brewer]

Making mining equipment has been a horrible business over the last few years. The industry has been hard-hit by the spending cutbacks at mine sites around the world. For example, BHP Billiton Limited trimmed its capital exploration expenditures by roughly 70% between fiscal 2013 and 2016. No wonder Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT), Komatsu Ltd. (NASDAQOTH:KMTUY), and Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) have been hurting. Only that looks like it’s starting to change, which means this trio could be at the top of a list of mining equipment companies to buy in 2017.

The S&P 500 stock posting the largest daily percentage loss ahead of the close Friday was Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) which traded down about 5% at $159.44. The stocks 52-week range is $134.06 to $181.79. Volume was over 3.5 million versus the daily average of 1.2 million shares.

Ever walk past a construction site? It’s hard not to be enthralled by all the heavy construction machinery moving things around. With the world’s developing economies still building at a relatively fast pace and developing economies, like the United States, in desperate need of upgrading their aging infrastructure, the companies behind that construction machinery could be just as exciting as a construction site in the years ahead. Which is why Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT), Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI), and Terex Corporation (NYSE:TEX) are three of the top construction machinery stocks to look at right now.
